Warrior Mode




here is my warrior with his hinged helmet.

  1. With proper textures, the model will work well. If texturing is not your thing, you might want to add some more details.

    You need to really look at the feet which are very narrow and lacking much form. Look at a human foot and mimic the form - just exaggerated.

  2. Its look good. Are you going to toss it in zbrush for the bump for higher detail/texture work?

  3. I like the helmet more in the down position. I can just see the face gaurd flopping around as hes fighting. but at first when I saw it his breastplate just looked like a gray shirt to me. add some more detail to it so that it looks more metallic. get some dents, scratches, rust, tarnish... ect. all of those things will help. In your drawings you have what looks like a rivited seem, or bolted seem that runs along the front of the armor also. this should be added in the final texture.

  4. you may also want to add a spec map, or at least mess with the specular options in your materials, so that the metal seems more shiney or reflective than your clothe.
